New Lawyers Division
The West Virginia Association for Justice's New Lawyers Division (NLD) is intended to serve as a welcoming place for new plaintiffs’ lawyers to become more involved in WVAJ, build relationships, and learn from experienced trial lawyers across the state. Consistent with WVAJ’s broader mission, the NLD will focus on supporting new plaintiffs' lawyers who are committed to protecting access to the courts, preserving the civil justice system, and defending the right to trial by jury. NLD’s goals are to create opportunities for mentorship, networking, professional development, and service within WVAJ. Through informal events, CLE and skills-based programming, collaboration with WVAJ leadership, and outreach, the NLD will work to strengthen the incoming generation of trial lawyers in West Virginia.
